Hello everyone and welcome to my page! As my gran would say, make yourself at home bab!

I have decided to take a step into the unknown and set up my very own blog, after loads of nagging from friends and family. I never would have dreamed of doing such a thing in the past, as I am a pretty shy and introverted person in daily life. But my life long adoration of Baroque music and desire to share my story and knowledge has helped me overcome those nerves in hopes others can get the same ceaseless enjoyment and emotional balm from Baroque music that I do myself.

Now, a bit about my blog and what to expect. As the title of my blog indicates, the story of how a poor working-class boy from a small village in England, me, came to fall hopelessly in love with the music of kings will be where our journey begins. Eventually I hope to branch out further. I am fortunate enough to have received classical music training, despite my humble background, with that in mind I hope to offer a variety of content. This content will include: musical analysis; music theory; story; poetry; and music composed by me. I can’t say for certain when all that will be sorted out, but I thank you all for joining me on this new and exciting chapter in my life.
